EVERYDAY
28.06.24 ~ 28.07.24
Everyday is an exhibition of works celebrating seemingly small, mundane moments as significant.Through painting and sculpture, the works catalogue objects, architecture, materials and memories to explore the slippery relationships between built environments, the bodily and the emotional. Larger narratives are contained within smaller occurrences, signs and residue. Soft, wet, temporary objects puncture rigid, repetitive structures and established norms – creating an opening for other feelings and emotions. The series of work articulates themes of friendship, tenderness, transness, intimacy and the absurdity of late-capitalism, through the artist’s personal experiences of urban spaces.
