THERE WILL BE NO FLOWERS
23.02.24 - 25.02.24
'There Will Be No Flowers' by Baxter is a retrospective of damage and decay. Baxter was heavily inspired by the accumulation of intentional and unintentional marks that public-facing surfaces collect over time. Through a mixture of decay and vandalism, Baxter used this as an inspirational starting point to create a body of work that takes these seemingly disparate elements and recontextualizes them into contemporary art. This new body of work is far removed from his street and illustration styles and has taken a minimalistic approach and refined these pieces to his core tastes and values in a subtle yet potent execution.
