PHIBS is known for using many different mediums and experimenting with a diverse range of styles. However, his signature style is always recognisable. In this new body of work, he dives back into his graffiti roots which has always been the most prominent and practiced element of the work he is well primarily known for.
Although PHIBS occasionally strays from the path in artistic directions he always returns to the graffiti/ street art culture which has become his identity, passion, love, hate, career, addiction, and obsession.
Creating artwork for PHIBS is a daily activity that is a vital part of his life, just as breathing is. He compares it to a religious faith that needs to be worshipped and practiced every day. It gives him meaning and purpose. He has created his own unique symbolism and style with mythical creatures and beasts that make regular symbols, such as the curl, an instantly recognisable trait associated with his work.
